Is Meridian Ventures a software product or a consulting service?
We're a venture builder with our own agent platform that we operate for clients permanently. Software vendors sell you their product and you run it. You're dependent on their roadmap, locked into their pricing model, and responsible for making it work with your operations. Consultants build you custom solutions then hand them off. You own the code but you're responsible for maintenance, updates, and evolution as your business changes. We deploy our pre-built agent platform configured to your specific workflows, then stay embedded to operate it. You get the speed of a product deployment (weeks not months), the customization of a consulting build (agents that work how you work), and permanent operational support (we evolve it as you grow). You own the agents and institutional logic. We own and operate the platform infrastructure. This model is why we can replace SaaS vendors economically - we're not building from scratch like consultants, but we're not charging per-seat like software vendors.

What if we decide to bring this in-house later?
You already own the agents and institutional logic. If you want to operate the infrastructure yourself, we can transfer everything and train your team. Most clients prefer we stay embedded because maintaining agent infrastructure isn't their core business, but the option exists.

What does a typical engagement look like?
We place 2-3 of our team members directly into your operations - they sit with your staff, attend your meetings, and work inside your systems. This isn't remote consulting with weekly check-ins. We're physically or virtually present where the work happens. Your team commitment is focused but not overwhelming. We need access to your best operators for structured sessions (5-10 hours over 2-3 weeks) to capture decision patterns. Your IT team helps with system access and integration points. Leadership reviews progress weekly and makes go/no-go decisions at validation milestones. Operationally, nothing stops during deployment. Your teams continue using existing SaaS while we build and test agents in parallel. The only disruption comes when we actually cut over - usually a single weekend transition per workflow. After deployment, we stay on as permanent operating partners but the intensity changes. Instead of daily collaboration, we monitor agent performance, handle exceptions your staff flags, and schedule monthly optimization reviews. You're not managing the infrastructure day-to-day, but you always know what's happening and why. Most clients describe it as having a permanent AI engineering team without hiring one

How does pricing work and why is it more economical than SaaS?
We charge three components: one-time deployment to configure and integrate the platform, monthly operations to run and maintain infrastructure, and variable usage costs based on actual agent activity. The economic difference from SaaS: They charge per seat regardless of utilization. You pay the same whether someone logs in twice a day or twice a week. Agents only consume resources when actually working, and compute costs are sublinear - doubling volume doesn't double expenses because of efficiency at scale. Most importantly, SaaS vendors profit from your growth through per-seat multiplication. Agent economics improve as you scale. The incentive structure is fundamentally different - we succeed when your costs decrease relative to output, not when they increase.

How quickly can we see results?
Very quickly. Our process is built for rapid delivery without sacrificing quality. Within the first few weeks, you’ll already see tangible value. We leverage pre-built internal tools, enabling us to deliver quickly rather than starting from scratch. While a full engagement might span a few months, you’ll experience steady progress and incremental wins throughout, not just at the end.

How do you handle sensitive data and application security?
Agents run in your infrastructure or ours - your choice. All data stays within your security perimeter if required. We meet SOC 2, GDPR, and regional compliance requirements. We work with Nemko Digital to ensure local regulatory compliance.
